You may ask, What is the Annunctiation?
Well it’s pretty simple but very special to our Catholic and Christian community.
It started with the Angel Gabriel and Mary. The Angel stold Mary that she would have a son, and she was to name Jesus. The Angel Gabriel said, “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God.” And Mary of course said “YES”.
Since then we have celebrated it as the feast day of the Aunnuciation. Last Friday we went to church and sang for the Annunciation. We also did the rosary because Hail Mary is the first prayer, but not just that, Pope Francis organized a prayer for Ukraine and Russia.
We celebrate the Feast Day of the Annunciation to remember the day that Mary said yes!
